Welcome to 909LowLife.com!
I have been in the automotive industry a good portion of my life, but I have always loved modifying my cars and trucks. I’ll go ahead and give you a breakdown.
- My very first truck was a ’79 Chevy Luv – which of course I slammed on the ground by undoing the torsion keys and drop blocks in the rear. – Totaled by some guy making a left in front of me.
- ’90 Mitsubishi Mighty Max – One of my favorites! this truck had a completely shaved tailgate and door handles, heated monoleaf in the rear with a step notch and bridge with air shocks for raising and lowering, cut springs in the front, that was one rough ride! Its still out there somewhere.
- ’78 Porsche 924 (remember those?) – of course I dropped it, changed the wheels, and blew the engine racing – junkyard.
- ’93 Dodge Daytona V6 Manual – One of only a handful ever made, I took this car and dropped it, ported and polished the intake, blew the motor racing, rebuilt it and blew it again, If I had only known then how valuable that car was I would have kept it – junkyard.
- ’93 Dodge Stealth – After not learning from my previous mistakes I took this car and a 3000gt parts car I had and made a complete conversion, I put on an AC Autotechnic Revolution exhaust, installed an AVIC N1 Stereo complete with a full Rockford Fosgate sound system with fiber glassed in subs. Custom Instrument cluster with painted interior. Unfortunately this car got totaled while parked in front of my buddies house – the luck?
- ’05 Chevy Colorado – This truck I didn’t want to mess with as I was a new father and had other things on my plate. Sold this vehicle after owning only a couple years.
- ’04 Chevy Tahoe LT – After having a couple more kids I knew I needed something that could haul a ton of kids around but I still wanted it to be fun, So I installed a stereo system with 2 12″ subs, put it on 24’s and installed HID lights replacing the factory housings, doing a full LED conversion on the inside. Traded In
- ’05 Suzuki GSXR750 – Man this bike was fast, but apparently not fast enough for me, so changed the sprockets, put a power commander in and remapped the fuel system, did a bunch of exterior upgrades. Traded this straight up for a Chevy Cobalt SS
- ’07 Chevy Cobalt SS – this car was crazy fun just the way it was, but as I only had it a couple months before I nuked the second gear synchros, it was short lived. traded in with the Tahoe.
- ’13 Camaro ls V6 Auto – I had this car for 3 years, in that time, I had it tuned, blacked out the windows 5% on the rear 3 windows 20% on the 2 front windows and 50% on the windshield, blacked out the tail lights, did a complete LED conversion on all the lights I could find, installed HID headlights, Flowmaster cat back, of course I put a system in it, got the MMR Z-28 replica wheels (and consequently bent one the same day and had to go back to get another wheel and tire) I loved racing this car! After realizing this car was too small for all my kids, I traded it in for a…
- ’17 Chevy Malibu – I would have to say after purchasing this car I was so disappointed, everything was so integrated that not much could be done to it aside from tint, a system and some HID headlights. Sold
- ’04 Silverado Ext Cab – When I got this truck I told the wife that I would leave it alone and it was going to be a work truck…. that didn’t last long, First thing I did was change out the headlight housings and the grille and installed HID lights. Next I did a flip kit on the rear and drop spindles in the front. Then I shaved up the handles, and the tail gate handle. one day I got an ad on my phone where they showed this shock that slowly lowers your tailgate and I had an idea, if i install that and and put a 60 lb. pull solenoid on the tailgate I could remotely pop the tail gate, done. Then I wanted to do a Cadillac interior conversion, so I pulled out the dash and replaced it with an Escalade dash, instrument cluster and all, I also did a full LED conversion on the instrument cluster. Installed push to start with remote start. I still didn’t like the jump seat, so I swapped it out with a full console which came with the factory Bose amp and I couldn’t let that go to waste, so i looked up a pin-out and hand wired a harness that would connect to the Alpine iLX-107 I installed 2 12″ Kicker Comp VR subs under the rear seat and an amp on the wall behind the bench. I didn’t like the chrome on the front bumper so I replaced it and the lower valance with black parts. I also installed the power fold heated Escalade mirrors with integrated turn signals. More mods coming VERY soon.
- ’05 Cadillac Escalade – I bought this for the wife to tote our small army around in, again promising I wouldn’t do anything to it, and again I couldn’t help myself, I promptly installed a push to start with remote start alarm and installed an Alpine iLx-107 mechless radio. I have a feeling that when I’m done with the Silverado her truck is next…
So why am I here you might ask? Well the wife told me a while back that I should make a YouTube channel to show all the stuff I do for our vehicles and for friends, after a lot of thought I agreed and started 909Lowlife. You might be asking yourself why Lowlife? Well it’s a double entendre, as most people have this image of lowriders and the mini truck scene as lowlifes, but you all know we are just about the low life. You can find us on Instagram, SnapChat, Facebook, Twitter, and yes YouTube. just search for 909Lowlife.
